IKEA HACK: Kallax Storage Unit Gets A Lego Inspired Makeover!

In this episode of Love It OR Thrift it, I was presented with the tried and true IKEA KALLAX storage unit. Honestly, I’m not sure there is a person on this planet that has never seen the kallax! This IKEA storage staple become quite a popular buy in many households, so I was excited to take up the challenge to make this unique and custom for the owners looking for a change.

Maddie & Mike approached me with the request to create a more refined, elevated YET nerdy flip on their Kallax that represented their mutual love of Lego. They wanted the piece to celebrate their lego love but not feel too kitschy at the same time. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
