*Reversible* IKEA Pax Wardrobe Hack

I love to create unique IKEA Hacks for my home and this completely renter-friendly, reversible Pax Wardrobe makeover certainly takes the cake!

I’m not saying there was anything wrong with my original pax wardrobe - honestly, it was the perfect solution for this room due to it’s low ceilings and unique shape but after spending a year in this space, I really wanted it to feel more warm and inviting. The white melamine was making the space feel sterile. I knew if our wardrobe cabinet was made of wood, it would completely transform this space but I didn’t want to pay the BIG BUCKS to replace everything I already owned, so I pulled out my DIY thinking cap and got to work!

MOOD BOARD

This was the moodboard I created for my bedroom and it was from these elements that I pulled my inspiration for my wardrobe look.

THE HANDLES

These 6ft dowel handles with leather strap wrapped around it was my favourite feature to this DIY. I love how much these elevate the entire wardrobe and give it a beautiful Japandi/modern look.
